Holy Lamb this is great!, January 26, 2012 When I started reseaching natural sleeping products this luxury item came to view and I just had to have it. It proved the phrase 'Holy Lamb!' as in 'holy cow this is great!' I sleep hot, have arthritis and fibromyalgia - this offered the possibility of relief and I was stunned at the immediate results. The first night it was on our bed we slept two hours more! The next night we slept even better - amazing.
It's so thick and 'pettable', the bottom layer is a thick cotton knit and there is a good bit of weight to it. It doesn't shift around on the bed, wraps over the edges and just provides a layer of 'ahhh' to the bed. It does compress over time, but stays plenty thick - I rotate ours regularly and it does perform best if allowed to air regularly (easy, now there's an excuse not to make your bed)
I put a wool mattress pad under it as suggested by the folks at Holy Lamb and have stayed dry and cozy.
